Will Life Before COVID-19 Ever Come Back?

As we now start the final one-third of 2020,here are my thoughts.

As I see all these lifestyle changes around us in this pandemic year and how it had changed, even permanently at times how we live our lives whether personal or work-wise, I can say this.

Life will never be the same not only in this pandemic year(2020) but hence forth. Life before COVID-19 will never come back,in my opinion.

It is the new normal,folks.

This pandemic happened for a reason. As to what it is, we may know not necessarily now but in the coming days. It is basically a God only knows situation as I see it.

It will be interesting to see how our thoughts of 2020 would be come New Year’s Eve.

  1. Every day is a new beginning, today is not the same as yesterday and tomorrow will not be the same as today. I am always thankful and enjoy my life. Life is a blessing. πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™‚πŸ’•πŸ¦‹πŸ’πŸŒΈ

Totally agree. I’ll never be absent-minded again. I need to focus when I’m outside because other people are not careful. Indeed life will never be the same again, but some people have trouble realizing that.

I agree. I just don’t see myself taking my mask off or going out for leisure anymore. It’s sad but it’s the reality we all have to live with. We can only dream for things to go back to the way it was.

  4. unfortunately, I think you’re right. We will have to see what the new year brings.

  5. You are right
this pandemic happened for a reason
The reason, for me spiritual, we will understand over time!

  6. You are so right. There were many things that were far from great in our old normal. Hopefully, it is a chance rather than a course

  7. i don’t think we’ll be seeing a return to pre-covid conditions anymore. we must now contend with the new normal, with new ways of doing things. Work from home will be a big thing now, making the premium for office space wane. the use of technologies, particularly with communications, etc – will become even more important now. home based businesses have started sprouting, signalling the decline in popularity of the malls, etc. tourism will take time before it can recover. economies will have to learn to prioritize needs. so many things we must now contend with.

  8. of course covid 19 will go and life will come back

  9. Great post, Josie! 2020 has been rough no doubt. But I believe that things will eventually normalize. It may not be anytime soon but eventually. I think we’re being tested and tests never last. I could be wrong but I just want to think positively. Only time will tell. Thank you for this post.

    • You are very welcome. I am glad that you enjoyed reading my post and giving wonderful insight on an ongoing subject that we all are still dealing with.

The lost jobs, the lost relationships and the lost lives – We would never be the same again.

    • Agree. My hope will be that we will have a better version of our current living situation as a result of this pandemic. Stay safe!

Whoa you put the truth out there so plainly. I suppose internally we know that life before the pandemic isnt coming back but we choose to hope for it anyway.😢 Its all overwhelming though!πŸ’•

    • I agree that it is a lot to think through. Too deep indeed.. I guess every century that passes, a turning point arrives in life and it becomes the start of a new era. For us, this pandemic is the turning point to a new normal, a new reality.

  12. You are right, Josie. Just as our individual experiences shape us, this year, 2020, has shaped the planet. I am so grateful that God does know, and we are in His loving hands πŸ™‚

  13. Totally changed how I look at life. It may have been a bad year all round but for me it has been one year that I would never forget. How everything is falling apart and I got my job, got selected as a leader for an Art program in SA and I started a new Youtube channel, something I dreaded for years. this year for me has been one of the best.

    • Life is how we make of it. Opportunity knocks, we take it. Good for you. Keep going! Do not stop. Possibilities are still endless—COVID or not.

      • Thank you! 😊

      • You are welcome.(❁´◑`❁)
